Flour Sack Towels
Flour sack towels were standard kitchen towels in the homes we grew up in. Back in the day, these towels were hand embroidered and usually said the day of the week. The church my family went to held an annual church bazaar where my grandmother picked up several sets every year (if she didn’t have time to make them herself) and you were assured to get a set at Christmas.
Our flour sack towels harken back to that time, but in place of the embroidery of the church ladies, our towels have small fabric panels. After laundering the towels, they will measure approximately 27 ¼” to 28”. Sizing listed on our product pages is approximate.
You will only find flour sack towels in our kitchen and we hope that you will love these towels as much as we do!
